When I got here on Friday night, Jeff took me to meet some of his friends, who are all really cool. The next day we woke up and got breakfast tacos at Torchy's, which is a pretty popular taco joint in Austin. i know this because we waited in line for about 20 minutes before we could order.
Then Jeff took me out on the town. Sixth street is where all the bars are here in Austin. We started out at this bar called Barbarella. It was probably the coolest one we went to. Then we hopped around for the rest of the night and cabbed it back home. On Sunday, we went to this place that sells bottomless mimosas...for breakfast. So needless to say I got super black out drunk and passed out by 6:00. OH YEAH HANGOVER!!!
If you like museums, you should check out the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. It's well done.
ReplyDeleteI got blackout drunk in Austin once while visiting my friend Bill. Bill had two pieces of furniture in his whole apartment -- a bed and a barstool. Guess who got to spend the next day hungover and slumped in a barstool? FUN! Not
